On July 12th, 2024, it is with a heavy heart that I write this. Our beloved kitty has passed away, he collapsed in the yard together while outside with my husband. There was no way to save him; his little heart suddenly stopped, and he ceased breathing. It happened around 2:45 pm; he was only 13 years old. It has been exactly 13 years since my mom’s passing as well to this exact date, I rescued him in Yak BC coming home after my moms funeral. So young, so full of life, so happy. His absence leaves a profound emptiness in our home. He is now on my moms lap, purring I am sure.
This show was his; he would pull records from the shelves with his claws, often picking out some pretty good gems. That’s how our story together began, and this is my tribute to you, my dear boy.
He used to sit in the studio with me while I recorded DJ Kitty Scratch; he even made appearances in some of the samples. This is for you, my special cat, so unique and loving. You will be deeply missed.
